In the jail yard, migrants who have been held in the “worst prison in the world” have spelled out a message with their bodies in an attempt to get assistance.
Donald Trump ordered mass deportations using a statute last used during World War II, resulting in the deportation of over 250 convicts to the Center for Terrorism Confinement (CECOT). The 410-acre jail can house up to 40,000 inmates.
It has many modules spread over eight buildings, and according to accounts, prisoners are required to spend 23.5 hours a day in their cells with another 70 individuals.
